Whether it’s you or your teen, anxiety has reared its ugly head in your household. It’s taking over, it’s dominating every situation, it’s demanding to be seen and that you pay attention to the way it makes you feel and you don’t know how to stop it.

It can feel like a dark shadow over your family, affecting everyone and making even the simplest things feel impossible. It drains confidence, stops sleep, creates problems where there weren’t any and whispers quietly reminding you that it’s there waiting to pounce when you least expect it.

Anxiety is exhausting. Exhausting if it’s you suffering with it and exhausting if you are trying to care for a teenager who has it. It’s not something you can ‘shake off’, it’s there all the time and it might be affecting your life in lots of different ways.

Anxiety isn’t just panic attacks (although you might be experiencing them), it’s worrying about everything, it’s fears and phobias, it’s avoiding social situations, it’s replaying conversations over and over, it’s planning out the worst case scenarios, it’s sleep problems, anger issues and so much more. Everyone I work with experiences anxiety differently, but the one common feature is that they feel like it’s taking over and they want things to change.

You might know what caused your anxiety and the exact day it started or yours might have grown silently until it has icy grip firmly attached to your life and you have no idea how it got there.


This is why I work the way I do – your experience of anxiety is completely unique to you. I don’t want you to have to relive old hurts or pick through your past until you find the root cause. I want to work with you to reduce and remove that anxiety forever.


I use a combination of hypnotherapy, relaxation and DoTerra therapeutic grade essential oils to help you release that anxiety and learn to feel strong and able to cope with everything that comes your way. I can work with you, the adult if you’re the one struggling, but I also specialise with helping teens and young people learn to break free from their anxiety as well.

Before I worked with you, I was full of self loathing and had very low self esteem. I was so fearful of life and had very high anxiety levels that were taking over my thinking and stopping me enjoying my life. This had an impact on my home life, I was arguing constantly with my partner and passing my anxieties onto my 4 year old and 8 year old daughters, for example I had great fears of walking under or near trees, and was scared of brick walls falling on them. This would really impact our activities and I would drain all the fun out of the day. To cope with this I was drinking heavily to the point I was out of control and blacking out. I was stress eating and had put on 2 stone, which then made me feel ugly and useless and I got to the point where I didn’t even dress nice or make an effort to wear clean clothes. I had signed up for a college course that I hadn’t even started and didn’t know how to start. My life was unmanageable.

As soon as I met you I felt at ease. You made me feel safe and I trusted you totally. I appreciated the way that you explained the process of what you were doing with me. I looked forward to every meeting we had, and I never felt judged so I could tell you everything without holding back.

In summary, you have literally changed my life.  My anxiety levels have decreased massively, and if I feel them creeping up I have the tools to deal with this and reduce them quickly. I can take the children out now and not be fearful of unrealistic dangers. Through your work with me I have stopped drinking alcohol- currently 2 months sober which is a miracle as I have never gone a couple of days without alcohol in approximately 4 years. I have lost over 1 stone because am no longer stress eating. I understand my thinking now and recognize when my stress bucket is getting full. You have taught me to break things down into manageable size pieces so that they are not overwhelming, and to set small targets that are realistic. I have begun my college course and have accepted that although I can’t complete the whole course I can complete the first unit, and that it is OK. With your wonderful help, my whole family has benefited, we laugh and smile a lot more, I am eternally grateful.
